Become an ERS member
The majority of European Respiratory Society (ERS) members choose to join through partnered national, regional or specialist societies. However, in countries where ERS does not have a membership agreement with a local society, it is still possible to join us as a direct member.
ERS offers different membership categories based on age, country of residence and professional activity. Please note that beginning in January 2023, the direct membership structure has been simplified and streamlined to six direct membership categories instead of nine. Your category will be confirmed to you once you have entered your details as part of the application process.
