ERS Prevention Summit: Improving Respiratory Health in Europe

Join us in Dublin, Ireland, on 11–12 June 2025 as the European Respiratory Society (ERS) brings together multiple stakeholders for an in-depth look at respiratory disease prevention.

About this event


Led by ERS President Prof Silke Ryan, in collaboration with ERS Past President Prof. Monika Gappa, this Summit shines a spotlight on the importance of prevention of respiratory disease, identifying successes and weaknesses and considering future approaches.  

 

Programme


The programme will address key topic areas such as:  

  • A look at successes in respiratory disease prevention  
  • Highlight the gaps (such as in data and research), including what has been identified by the WHO-Europe Chronic Respiratory Disease Report  
  • Identify the initiatives health policymakers could consider  
  • Determine new processes, policies, products or programmes that respond to the burden of respiratory health

The Summit will bring together multiple stakeholders from across Europe (both professional and patient) to explore this important topic. We welcome attendance from: 

  • Experts in the field of respiratory health and prevention 
  • Government representatives 
  • Public health representatives 
  • Healthcare professionals 
  • Patients / Patient organisation representatives 

 

How do I register for this event?


The ERS Prevention Summit is a free and in-person event. To ensure a balance of attendees, some representatives will be invited. However, there will be some limited space for additional attendees interested in this topic.
