CME and accreditation

What is CME credit and how do I claim it?

Continuing medical education (CME) is a fundamental tool in ongoing professional development. The European Respiratory Society (ERS) offers a variety of educational activities that provide CME credits, enabling health professionals to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills and professional performance.

ERS’s activities are reviewed by the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP), whose main activity is to ensure the quality and independence of CME activities in respiratory medicine.

Individuals who take part in ERS activities that are CME accredited will be advised on how to claim their CME credits by ERS.
