ELF Professional Advisory Committee Chair
Description: The European Lung Foundation (ELF) is calling for candidates to apply for the Chair position of the ELF Professional Advisory Committee, a pan-European multidisciplinary group of ERS members from primary and secondary care who provide direction to the ELF team on their patient information and education material. The Chair is pivotal in shaping patient materials provided by the ELF to patients across Europe and should have a passion for supporting patients to learn more about their condition and how to manage it, as well as raising awareness about lung health.
Position duration: The successful candidate will be in post from September 2020 to 2023.

ERS Guidelines Director (Science Council)
Description: The ERS Guidelines Director ensures a coherent and comprehensive guidelines portfolio as well as a smooth, fair and transparent selection process of future projects. The Guidelines Director supports the strengthening of ERS methodological resources for guideline development in line with the ERS leadership’s vision to position ERS as a key player in the field. Moreover, the Guidelines Director is expected to contribute in the support of the Science Council Chair in the strategic development of ERS scientific activities.
Position duration: The successful candidate will be in post from September 2021 until September 2024. The position includes a one-year handover period commencing in October 2020.
