The European Respiratory Society (ERS) has launched the 1st call for the new co-funded ERS/EU RESPIRE3 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme. Online applications are now open and must be submitted by 1 March, 2017 to be considered.
Following on from the RESPIRE2 fellowships, RESPIRE3 offers budding young scientists across all disciplines an opportunity to carry out a research project in the respiratory field at one of more than 50 pre-registered host centres worldwide.
The usual 2-year European fellowships are available and 3-year global fellowships have now been introduced, providing more flexibility as well as boosting scientific networks in Europe and beyond. The RESPIRE3 Fellowship Programme is designed to identify and help the future leaders of tomorrow in respiratory research. It has a strong focus on career development and provides attractive working conditions.
RESPIRE3 Fellowships are open to experienced researchers (PhD or 4-year full-time research experience, with at least one 1st author publication in an international peer-reviewed journal) and require transnational mobility. Find out more about the full eligibility requirements through the Application Guidelines.
Host centres can still pre-register and be listed on the ever-expanding RESPIRE3 Web Host Registry through a rolling open call.
