The European Respiratory Society (ERS) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the ERS Clinical practice guideline (CPG) methodology network.

The network will support the increasing demand for well-developed, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, and help develop the skills of ambitious ERS early career members.

Twelve early career members will be selected to join the network each year to take part in essential training covering the theoretical and practical skills needed for producing high-quality guidelines.

After completion of the training, network members will be appointed to an ongoing ERS clinical practice guideline to put in practice what they have learnt, with support from an ERS methodologist.

Network members will also benefit from involvement in an ERS Task Force, offering the chance to participate as Task Force panellists, participate in Task Force meetings, and be eligible for co-authorship on important guideline documents.

The network will be formally launched during a free upcoming webinar taking place on 11 November, 2021 at 12:00 CET, where interested candidates can find out more about applying for this opportunity.
