Clinical practice guidelines methodology network launch

This webinar will formally launch the ERS Clinical practice guideline (CPG) methodology network. The initiative will support the increasing demand for well-developed, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines by providing early career members with the essential skills needed for producing high-quality guidelines.

Format

• Introduction to the project by the ERS Guidelines Director, Andrew Bush.
• Presentation of the candidate profile, content of the training, and expected involvement within ERS after training is complete by ERS methodologists Thomy Tonia and Blin Nagavci.
• Testimony from a fellow in guidelines methodology, Alexander Mathioudakis.
• Question and answer session.

More about the network

Twelve early career members will be selected to join the network each year to take part in essential training covering the theoretical and practical skills needed for producing high-quality guidelines.

After completion of the training, network members will have the opportunity to contribute to an ERS clinical practice guideline with support from an ERS methodologist.
