The European Respiratory Society is pleased to announce the ERS award winners for 2023.

Each year, ERS presents a number of prestigious awards to recognise the achievements of a select group of leaders in the field of respiratory medicine.

The top awards and their winners for this year are:

ERS Presidential Award: Athol Wells
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to respiratory medicine in Interstitial lung diseases and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
