ERS has recently attended the 46th Union World Conference on Lung Health in Cape Town, South Africa. Members of the ERS leadership delivered presentations on key areas of activities including a talk on the ERS/ELF SmokeHaz website from ERS Advocacy Council Chair, Professor Christina Gratziou, and a talk on smoking cessation recommendations from ERS Tobacco Control Committee Chair, Professor Carlos Jimenez-Ruiz.
ERS also hosted a successful symposium with WHO on the topic of m-health and e-health in the field of tuberculosis and tobacco control, which included a presentation from ERS Secretary General Professor GB Migliori. In addition, the ERS stand welcomed many visitors interested in ERS activities and membership.
