The European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) will once again join Lancet Respiratory Medicine and the Journal of Cystic Fibrosis to host a collaborative research session on cystic fibrosis during the upcoming European Cystic Fibrosis Society Conference, following the success of last year’s activity.
The session will provide an educational forum to discuss how the journals operate, and to disseminate the latest cutting-edge findings in this very active field. The format will include presentations from the authors of selected research papers published across the three journals, with additional discussion from reviewers and editors.
In preparation for this session, ERJ is calling for new submissions in the field of cystic fibrosis, with a preference for:
- clinical trials;
- high quality basic science;
- or translational studies with a high potential clinical relevance.
The ERJ can offer fast track peer review and publication for suitable papers.
Interested authors with suitable manuscripts should submit their work online before the end of February 2022, mentioning this call for papers in the cover letter for their submission.
