The European Respiratory Society (ERS) is pleased to announce the results of its 2024 elections, which enabled ERS members to vote for their preferred candidates in a number of official ERS positions such as National Delegate, Assembly Head and Secretary and Group Chair. The majority of these candidates will commence their roles in September 2024.

The annual ERS elections are a key benefit of membership – enabling members to have their say in the development of the Society. ERS would like to thank all those who took the time to nominate and vote; as a member-driven organisation, ERS members’ choices about the Society’s officers and leaders are crucial in to guiding the way in which ERS develops.
It is the enthusiasm of the ERS membership that keeps the Society moving from strength-to-strength year by year.
