The European Respiratory Society (ERS) has confirmed that the ERS International Congress 2021 will be a fully virtual event.
Though we had planned to be in Barcelona in September with a hybrid Congress, the current global COVID-19 situation means that we must make a rational decision about the risks of large scale in-person events. We have therefore decided that this year’s Congress will be an exclusively virtual event, as we produced in 2020.
Those of you who joined us last year will know that we delivered a successful virtual experience – not compromising on the content you have come to expect from our Congress. This year, we will aim to deliver something even more innovative – still offering the latest in respiratory medicine and science but with new and improved features and a purpose-built platform to help our delegates network and get the most out of their attendance.
Registration for the ERS International Congress 2021 will be announced in the coming weeks.
