ERS is pleased to announce that registration for the academies of adult and paediatric respiratory medicine are now open.

The two-part courses are aimed at all respiratory professionals wishing to update their knowledge, particularly those preparing for the HERMES examinations in respiratory medicine, taking place in September.

Part 1 of both academies will take place online from 18–20 June, with Part 2 taking place on-site in Vienna, Austria on 7 September. Participants may choose to register for Part 1 exclusively, or for Part 1 and 2, with CME credits available in both cases. Pre-course modules are now available online for those registered to the academies.

Registered participants can also benefit from a discount when registering for the ERS HERMES self-assessment courses in adult or paediatric respiratory medicine, taking place online on 21 June.

Together, the academies in adult/paediatric respiratory medicine and the HERMES self-assessment course are the perfect way to prepare for the HERMES examinations in September.

A limited amount of bursaries are available to ERS members under 40 years old. These bursaries cover the registration fees for Part 1 (Online) of the Academies. The deadline to apply for these bursaries is 15 March, 2024.
