The Thoracic ultrasound certified training programme is a three-part programme designed to train qualified doctors to independently perform thoracic ultrasound.
Part three is an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE): a five station assessment to test participants’ knowledge and practical skills in thoracic ultrasound.
More information can be found in this publication.
This examination has been accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP) with two CME credits.
Only successful participants of parts one and two of this training programme can register for the examination.
You will receive a special voucher that will allow you to access the exam room inside the required Congress premises on 7 September only.
Registration for the ERS Congress is not required to attend OSCE.
Registering for the OSCE examination does not grant you access to the ERS Congress. Similarly, ERS Congress registration does not grant you access to the part three OSCE examination.
