There is a clear growing role of imaging in the diagnosis, monitoring and therapy management of children with BPD.
Educational aims:
By attending the webinar, the audience will learn about:
- Imaging features of BPD using chest radiography (CR), computed tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Current definition of BPD and imaging practice: is there a role for imaging in BPD diagnosis, which patients need routine imaging?
- Scoring methods for CT imaging of BPD patients: is this only for research setting?
- Follow-up of patients with BPD: is there a role for MRI?

Short introduction by the chair including a case presentation, one speaker covering the topics described above, 15 minutes Q&A discussion.
Learning outcomes
Following this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Discuss imaging modalities in children with BPD
- Identify the role of imaging in the diagnosis and the follow-up of BPD
- Underline the importance of standardized scoring of CT and MRI.
CME credit
An application for accreditation of this webinar has been made to the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP) for 1 CME credit per 1-hour attendance. If accredited, the CME credit will be granted upon attendance of at least 60 minutes during the live webinar only.
