Respiratory diseases remain a leading cause of death and disability across Europe, yet prevention is often overlooked in public health strategies. With millions affected and societal costs soaring, this event will spotlight the urgent need to elevate respiratory health within EU policy.
By bringing together key stakeholders, this in-person event, hosted by MEP Romana Jerković (Vice-Chair of the Sant Committee and Co-Chair of the MEP Lung Health Group), will underline why prevention must be a central pillar of future EU health strategies while also exploring what actions the European Parliament can take to address respiratory diseases.
