Azithromycin is frequently used in paediatric and adult respiratory medicine.
Educating healthcare professions and researchers about the evidence for the antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties of azithromycin to provide a better understanding of the bases for use in a variety of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, both in adult and paediatric medicine.
