The FIRA Barcelona congress centre has excellent connections to the city centre and the airport via ground transportation. The main metro stop next to the venue is “Europa/Fira”. Please go to the Barcelona website for more information on how to reach the venue with public transportation.
By air
Barcelona Airport – El Prat
By bus: From Airport Terminal T1, take the 46 bus towards Plaça España. It will take approximately 20 minutes to reach Amadeu Torner (5 stops). From there, the venue is a 10-minute walk away. You can purchase your ticket on the bus; the fare is €2.20 for a single ticket.
By metro: From Airport Terminal T1 or T2, take the metro line L9 Sud towards Zona Universitària and stop at Fira (9 stops). From there, walk straight ahead for 10 minutes to reach the entrance of the ERS International Congress venue. The total journey will take up to 40 minutes and costs €4.50.
By taxi: The taxi ride from Barcelona airport should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately €15. Please be advised that in Barcelona, there may be additional charges for suitcases, and/or extra fees for airport pick-up or nighttime fees. Follow the airport signs for the taxi rank in order to find a taxi.

To reach the congress centre by taxi, instruct the driver to take you to the North Entrance of the FIRA Barcelona Gran Via, which is located on the street Carrer del Foc. This will take you to the main entrance of the ERS International Congress.
By train
Estació Barcelona Sants
Take the Metro Blue Line 5 from Plaça de Sants towards Cornellà Centre and get off at Collblanc (3 stops). From there, take the Metro Orange Line 9S towards Aeropuerto T1. Get off at Fira (4 stops), which is located about 700 metres from the North Entrance of the congress centre.
Catalunya
Take the Metro Blue Red line 1 from Plaça Catalunya towards Hospital de Bellvitge and get off at Torrassa (9 stops). From there, take the Metro Orange Line 9S towards Aeropuerto T1. Get off at Fira (3 stops), which is approximately a 10-minute walk away from the North Entrance of the congress centre.
