Learning outcomes:

Following this series, participants will be able to:

  • Gain comprehensive skills in preparing and delivering effective oral presentations, including structuring content, utilising visual aids, and engaging with audiences.
  • Develop proficiency in chairing/moderating sessions, including maintaining schedules, introducing speakers, facilitating audience interaction, and utilising necessary technology.
  • Enhance overall communication skills for scientific conferences, including effective structuring of presentations, creating engaging visual aids, maintaining audience interest, handling questions confidently, and utilising non-verbal communication techniques.

  • Session 1: Preparing your oral poster presentation (23 April, 2024)
  • Session 2: Chairing/moderating at a scientific meeting (16 May, 2024)
  • Session 3: Speaking in a scientific conference (27 June, 2024)

CME credits

An application will be submitted to EBAP (European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology) for CME accreditation of this event. The number of credits that you will receive will correspond to the time you spend viewing the sessions live.
