ERS Guidelines Director

ERS is currently looking for a new Guidelines Director. The Director is a member of the Science Council and is responsible for ensuring a coherent and comprehensive portfolio of clinical practice guidelines, statements and technical standards and a smooth selection process for future projects. The Director also supports the strengthening of ERS methodological resources for guideline development, and supports the Science Council Chair in developing ERS scientific activities.

This is an unpaid, voluntary role supported by ERS staff and methodologists. The role has a mandate of three years (2027–2030) with a one year shadowing period beginning in October 2026.
