Highlights for scientists and researchers at the ERS International Congress 2020

27 July, 2020

The European Respiratory Society (ERS) is pleased to share highlights for scientists and researchers from the ERS Congress programme.

Scientific and clinical research is central to driving advancements in respiratory medicine and vital to the development of new methods and technologies for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases.

This year’s event will feature a strong scientific and clinical research led Congress programme, offering scientists and clinical researchers the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that will deliver the latest updates in respiratory medicine.

As well as ERS’s own recommendations, Catherine Greene, Head of the Basic and Translational Sciences Assembly, gave her thoughts on what makes the ERS Congress unique for scientists and clinical researchers, what they can expect to gain from taking part, and what the popular topics will be for those in this professional speciality.
