Air pollution and COVID-19 – clearing the air and charting a post-pandemic course

This MEP Lung Health Group event took place on 2 December, 2020, and was organised jointly by ERS, the Health Effects Institute and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology.

Guest speakers with expertise in epidemiology, environment and public health, and policymaking provided important updates on air pollution and health research in the COVID-19 era and discussed strategies for a sustainable recovery from the pandemic. The participants included:
