The European Respiratory Society (ERS) is pleased to share details of the extensive live programme planned for the ERS International Congress 2021, which will take place virtually from 5–8 September.

In addition to the return of many sessions now standard to the Congress offering, this year’s event sees the inclusion of skills labs. These practical presentations showcase a range of clinical skills used day to day by respiratory professionals, with an explanation of the procedures, devices, and roles of the multi-disciplinary team and an interpretation of the results.

Following feedback from last year’s first-ever virtual Congress, the platform for 2021 has been improved to accommodate the networking needs of an online audience of healthcare professionals. A more personalised platform will allow delegates to join groups based upon their interest areas and receive session recommendations, interact directly with colleagues and faculty, and create personal event schedules.

Registration for the ERS International Congress 2021 is now open, and delegates who register before 6 July will benefit from an early bird-discount price of €129 for ERS members and €189 for non-members.
