ERJ Open Research is seeking high-quality research papers on chronic cough

Chronic cough is a globally common problem, affecting approximately 5–10% of adults in the community. It remains a persistent clinical and public health concern worldwide, with no approved therapies. However, recent studies have been revealing the mechanisms and therapeutic targets for this condition.
ERJ Open Research invites new submissions in the field of chronic cough, particularly those addressing novel mechanisms and treatments of chronic refractory cough. Preference will be given to papers that are clinical trials, provide mechanistic insights or offer new knowledge on management.
ERJ Open Research will provide fast-track peer review and publication for suitable papers. Interested authors with appropriate manuscripts, including both full-length original research papers and research letters, should submit their work online by 31 March, 2024. In your submission cover letter, please mention that your paper is in response to this call for papers. Please note that the standard peer review criteria will be applied to all submissions.
