A new CME module, focusing on rheumatoid arthritis-associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD) versus connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD), is now available on the ERS e-learning site.
This module is directed by Prof. Veronika Müller. Prof. Philippe Dieude and Dr Pilar Rivera Ortega will accompany Prof. Müller in guiding participants through the module.
In this module, course leaders will discuss the specifics of RA-ILD in the group of CTD-ILD regarding diagnostics, especially previous treatments of RA and their impact on ILD. In addition, diagnostic steps of progressive pulmonary fibrosis in RA-ILD will be summarised. The management of patients, including clinical and radiological presentation and therapeutic intervention will also be addressed in this module.
After having fully completed this module, participants will gain the knowledge needed to:
- Understand RA-ILD features and disease specific differences from other CTD-ILDs
- Get familiar with clinical, functional, and radiographic features of RA-ILD
- Select the appropriate treatment for patients with progressive pulmonary fibrosis in RA-ILD
This module is designed for pulmonary, respiratory and chest physicians, radiologists, rheumatologists and residents in these fields, respiratory therapists, nurses, and allied specialists.
Take the module and collect a CME credit.
