Overview
This workshop brings together experts, early-career researchers, and patient representatives to advance thoracic oncology research. It focuses on low-dose CT lung cancer screening (LDCT LCS), pulmonary nodule management, and early-stage management of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), aiming to develop guidelines, address research gaps, and integrate real-world data and patient perspectives.
The EU-funded projects IDERHA, OPTIMA, and SOLACE are key to this workshop, providing essential expertise, resources, and state-of-the-art data platforms. They promote researcher collaboration, support evidence-based guidelines, and drive innovation in thoracic oncology by integrating AI, biomarkers, and digital infrastructure to enhance clinical and translational research.
Objectives
By attending this workshop, participants should be able to:
- Enhance expertise in low-dose CT lung cancer screening (LDCT LCS) and early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by engaging with cutting-edge research, best practices, and case studies from international experts.
