The ERS Congress 2026 will take place at Fira Gran Via (Halls 1 to 3) in Barcelona, Spain from 5–9 September.

Please note that payment for these activities is additional to the congress registration fee. Participants can choose to add these activities during the registration process or afterwards by contacting KIT. These activities are available exclusively for onsite participants.

Applications for free press accreditation to cover the ERS Congress 2026 will open in April 2026.

ERS sustainability initiatives

Help us to support climate protection projects around the world.

- Make a donation to climate protection projects as part of your registration form and ERS pledges to make an additional contribution of €5 for every €5 (or more) donation made by a congress attendee. These projects align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and can help communities to make important changes which positively impact environmental sustainability and improve access to clean air.

Why do we ask about travel/accommodation in the registration form?

- As part of ERS’s commitment to sustainability, we are measuring the environmental impact of our Congress. To do this accurately, we need to ask a few questions about your intended method of travel and accommodation type within the congress registration form. The data helps us to calculate an overall carbon emission figure. Individual delegate information is never reported. We appreciate your participation.
