The ERS stand is your opportunity to talk to ERS face-to-face – whether you have queries about your membership or would like to ask about the benefits of ERS membership, you can come and talk to us to find out more.

The ERS Congress is the one chance in the year for members to get their membership card printed. Visit us at the ERS stand to print and collect your membership card.

Come to the ELF stand to explore how you can involve more patients and patient representatives in your work or discover our multilingual, patient-friendly resources to support your activities. Our team and network members will be available throughout the day to discuss priorities and opportunities for collaboration. You can visit the stand for its daily social hour from 15:00 to 16:00 to connect with ELF staff and organisations from across their patient organisation network. On Monday, the social hour will spotlight the Global Voices campaign, highlighting the inspiring contributions of patients around the world and the impact of patient involvement in healthcare.

On Monday and Tuesday we have dedicated sessions in the World Village Auditorium ‘Presentations from the ELF Patient Organisation Network’ where members of the ELF Patient Organisation Network will give short presentations to introduce their organisation and share their activities with Congress attendees. These sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the work and impact of patient organisations from across Europe and globally. (Monday 09:45-10:15 and Tuesday 14:15-15:15)

Join us at the HLfL stand to discover how you can help protect lung health and take our campaign messages into your own community. HLfL is a joint ERS/ELF initiative with six themes: #BreathCleanAir, #Vaccinate, #TakeTheActiveOption, #BeSmokeFree, #FightClimateChange and the latest theme #EatWell. Delegates are encouraged to meet with the team to find out how to hold your own HLfL activities or support local events. You can also sign up at the stand for the Take the Active Option walk or run at Congress, happening on Tuesday 30 September at 7:30 CEST.

The ERS Bookshop will be hosted in the World Village from Saturday 27 September. Visit the bookshop to browse and purchase books onsite from the extensive ERS Publications collection.

The International Respiratory Coalition (IRC) is a multisector coalition that aims to transform post-pandemic respiratory care and reduce respiratory disease-related mortality by a third globally by 2030 – in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The IRC now has 19 national coalitions across Europe and continues to grow. Visit the IRC booth to learn more about its national initiatives and key epidemiological and economic data available through IRC Lung Facts.

ERS is committed to contributing to a more sustainable future. The ERS Congress is the Society’s most important event and an ideal platform to: share the latest science relating to clean air and respiratory health; inspire our community to make sustainable choices; and facilitate contributions to climate protection projects.

Visit the stand to:

• Talk with a sustainability consultant – feel free to ask the onsite expert questions about sustainability and sustainable practices.
• Take part in a quiz on the topic of the impact of climate change hosted by MyClimate experts, a tree will be planted in the name of the daily winner.
• Use our virtual reality station to immerse yourself in stories of real-world environmental changes.
• Take part in our activities designed to make you think about the amount of energy that is needed for tasks – pedal to make your own fresh juice using locally sourced produce.
• Reuseable water bottles will be available for purchase at the stand with refill stations located throughout the congress centre.
• If you haven’t already, you can also take the opportunity to donate €5 towards climate protection projects

Visit these stands and interact with ERS partner organisations and societies. Representatives from the Forum of International Respiratory Societies (FIRS) and national/regional respiratory societies from around the world are attending this year’s Congress.

The World Village Auditorium is a dedicated space for meetings, presentations and gatherings organised by ERS in partnership with patient organisations, early-career members, national and regional partner societies.
