ERS has joined the public campaign MoreTrials, which is calling for changes to current rules and regulations that govern how randomised trials are run.
The campaign highlights a number of problems posed by these guidelines and argues that they contradict the overall intention to protect patients. A key issue is the exclusion of clinical trialists in the creation of the guidelines and an overall lack of external stakeholder input.
