A new CME module is now available which focuses on the interpretation of cardiopulmonary exercise test results.
Led by Professors Pierantonio Laveneziana and Paolo Palange, the module includes a discussion of how cardiopulmonary test results correlate with physiological factors in patients with common cardiopulmonary diseases characterised by exercise intolerance and unexplained exertional dyspnoea.
The module features an interactive case simulation, a panel discussion and suggested readings, which will provide participants with an understanding of how to:
- Identify typical patterns of response to cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
- Discriminate typical patterns from irregular response profiles that can cause misinterpretation of test results.
Participants with a myERS account will also be able to take a test on the topic at the end of the module, which is accredited with one CME credit. A CME certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the CME test.
