ERS Congress 30th anniversary discount extended until 23 June – register now!

It’s been two weeks since Congress registration opened and more than 10,000 people have already registered. Due to this popular demand, the European Respiratory Society (ERS) is pleased to announce that we are extending the 30th anniversary discount on registration fees for the virtual ERS International Congress 2020 by one week. The new deadline is 23:59 CEST on 23 June, with no further extensions planned.

The anniversary discount celebrates that this year is the 30th year of the ERS Congress. For only €59 for ERS members and €99 for non-members, participants will gain access to a virtual event that allows delegates to interact and actively participate as they access the latest data and educational opportunities. By offering a discount on registration fees we hope to include as many people from our healthcare community in the celebrations as possible.

ERS President, Prof. Thierry Troosters, said of the upcoming event: “This year, the ERS annual Congress is specially designed to be virtual. Sessions will be adapted to make sure they are just as exciting as in a live event, and most sessions in the three-day programme will be live. This way we will continue to support the respiratory community to access the latest science and education in the field, and to connect with one another no matter where you are in the world.

“We want to show our appreciation to the respiratory community for its continued support for our Congress and make this year’s event more accessible than ever. Importantly, all the new data submitted to the Congress will be presented as interactive electronic posters or oral presentations. This is particularly important as we want to continue the ‘science boost’ that traditionally happens around the ERS Congress.”

A preliminary Congress programme is now available on the official Congress website. Further details of the scientific programme will be available in the coming weeks.
