Respipedia, ERS’s respiratory focussed wiki, has had a number of new topics added in recent weeks – broadening the scope of specialist subjects available through the site. Additionally, we have added a number of new useful features to improve usability of the system – including notification of most viewed articles, email alerts and citation improvements.
The full list of additions and improvements is as follows:
New topics available:
- Signs and symptoms
- Pulmonary Diagnostic Procedures
- Pulmonary disease during pregnancy
- Structure and Function of the respiratory system
- Lung imaging
- Other treatment modalities
- Collaborative and associated fields
New features:
- You can now see which articles have been viewed the most with our ‘Most viewed ’ feature
- You can request direct emails alerts for new articles and updates
- You now have the option to ‘cite this article as’
Other improvements:
- Co-authoring: it is now possible for a group of authors to work on the same article
- The editor feature has been improved with new functionalities (sub headers, copy and paste and word format removal)
- A new tool allows you to cite articles directly from Pubmed
- The topics page has been simplified using icons and labels) to indicate if article is free, taken or available for viewing
