A new CME Online module that focuses on the management of both chronic and acute Pseudomonas infections is now available.

This latest module is led by Professors Anthony De Soyza and Jordi Rello, and will teach participants to:

  • Identify the differences between acute and chronic infection with Pseudomonas;
  • Spot risk factors;
  • Summarise the principles of antimicrobial agents used in these different scenarios;
  • Differentiate between the multiple modalities of treating Pseudomonas infections, including oral, intravenous and topical;
  • Identify scenarios where treatment can be optimised.

Participants with a myERS account will also be able to take a test on the topic at the end of the module, which is accredited with one CME credit. A CME certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the CME test.
