The European Respiratory Society (ERS) is pleased to announce the launch of a new ERS blog series, In the line of duty, focusing on the experiences of health professionals who are working on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The blogs provide a platform for health workers to share their invaluable knowledge of managing and treating COVID-19, and they also serve to help the international healthcare community to feel supported during these challenging times, learn from one another and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
The first blog in the series spotlights a recommendations document on managing and caring for patients with COVID-19, which was prepared by a team of healthcare professionals from the Italian Respiratory Society and Italian Thoracic Society based on their experiences.
