On top of the 23% ERS member discount that we offer to all of our members, French law permits that Congress delegates who are valid ERS members at both the point of registration and during the Congress will be exempt from the 20% VAT charge.
To qualify for this VAT exemption, you may need to renew your ERS membership before your expected due date.
We have emailed our members directly to inform them if their membership expiry date falls within this period and we have made it so that when you sign in to myERS to register for Congress, you will be prompted to either renew your membership or proceed as a non-paid member, in which case you will not be eligible for the VAT exemption.
Registration is expected to open on Tuesday 10 April.
