On 12–14 February, 2026, the European Respiratory Society will host its fourth Respiratory Failure and Mechanical Ventilation (RFMV) Conference. Taking place in Rotterdam, Netherlands (and online), the conference will bring together cutting-edge insights on acute and chronic respiratory failure in both paediatric and adult patients, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to advance care and treatment.

As well as being published in ERJ Open Research, accepted abstracts will be allocated in the conference programme’s oral discussion sessions and poster sessions. The deadline for submitting is 1 October, 2025.
