The EUREST-PLUS project consortium held its annual meeting in Athens on 23 May, 2017 to share results from the first wave of the project and discuss advances, the current state of play and next steps.
EUREST-PLUS, of which ERS is a partner, is an EU Horizon 2020 funded project that aims to monitor and evaluate the impact of the Tobacco Products Directives (TPD) within the context of WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) ratification at a European level.
ERS presented a new video that is intended to raise awareness of the project to a broader audience, and the consortium discussed planning and coordination of the second wave of the EUREST-PLUS cohort survey, which is expected to take place in January – February, 2018.
15 stakeholders, including policy makers, patient representatives, medical societies and others, representing 12 organisations, also took part in a parallel stakeholder consultation on the project’s objectives, current results and perspectives.
Work package leaders presented preliminary results from the EURST-PLUS project in a well-attended session at the ENSP International Conference on 24 May, 2017.
