Following the 2019 elections, which enabled ERS members to vote for their preferred candidates for a number of official ERS positions such as National Delegates, Assembly Heads and Secretaries, and Group Chairs and Secretaries, we are pleased to announce that the successful candidates have been elected and will commence their roles with immediate effect.

We would like to thank all members who took the time to vote; as a member-driven society your choices about leaders within the society will guide the way in which it develops.

Additionally, we would like to thank all members who nominated themselves or others to take up an active role within ERS. It is the enthusiasm of our members that keeps ERS moving from strength to strength year by year.

Please note that voting is still open for the positions of Chair for Group 6.04 (Occupational and Environmental Health) and Secretary for Group 2.01 (Acute Critical Care). ERS members can place their vote by visiting myERS and selecting the ‘Elections’ tab. Voting will close on 24 January, 2019.

Reminder: This round of voting has also decided who will lead the new assembly groups, which were added following the General Assembly meeting in 2018. Please be aware that ERS members now can choose review and reselect their group preferences at any time using our online membership portal myERS.
