A new CME module, focusing on Pulmonary fibrosis: prognostic approach and implication on management, is now available on the ERS Respiratory Channel.
This module is directed by Prof. C. Vancheri. Prof. P. Molyneaux and Dr J. Jacob will accompany Prof. C. Vancheri in guiding participants through the module.
This module describes the case of a middle-aged woman with progressive dyspnoea and dry cough and a new diagnosis of interstitial lung disease (ILD). The module leaders will go through a working diagnosis of ILD, trying to select the most appropriate treatment for this case.
During the session participants will also learn what type of tests could be useful in the diagnostic and prognostic assessment of these patients. At the end of the session, module leaders will provide their clinical approach to this specific case in the light of the most recent literature.
After having fully completed this module, participants will gain the knowledge needed to:
- Expand clinical assessment on ILD patients
- Improve the follow-up of these patients
- Recognise the value of a personalised treatment in the context of a systemic disease
This module is designed for:
- Pulmonologists
- General practitioners
- Rheumatologists
- Radiologists
