The latest CME online module, ‘How to identify types of overlap in asthma and COPD’ is now available.
The module will enable participants to identify patients in which the overlap between asthma and COPD can exist, understand the importance of the underlying inflammatory process when deciding the type of pharmacologic treatment to use, and appreciate the difficulties in diagnosing the asthma and COPD overlap.
Led by experts Professor Peter Barnes and Dr. F. Garcia-Cosio Piqueras, the module consists of interactive case simulations, an engaging panel discussion video, selected readings and a follow-up CME test.
