Abstract submission is now open for the Lung Science Conference (LSC) 2019: ‘Mechanisms of Acute Exacerbation of Respiratory Disease’, taking place in Estoril, Portugal on 7–10 March. The deadline to submit is 1 November at 23.59 CET.
The LSC offers an annual opportunity for early career scientists to be at the forefront of basic and translational respiratory science – presenting cutting-edge abstracts on novel experimental lung research. It is also a highly valuable opportunity to network with peers from around the globe.
ERS is also offering up to 40 bursaries which can be applied for at the time of abstract submission. Bursaries will cover the cost of registration as well as contribute towards other costs. If an abstract is accepted and the author receives a bursary, they will automatically be accepted to present their research at the ERS International Congress 2019, in Madrid.
Successful abstracts could also be selected to receive one of three prestigious LSC Awards.
