A new CME module is now available that focuses on the importance of appropriate pharmacologic treatment of patients with mild asthma.

Led by Professors Alberto Papi and Professor Zuzana Diamant, the module explores the treatment options available and seeks to understand the rationale and clinical value of the GINA 2019 recommendations for the treatment of step one and step two asthma.

The module features an interactive case simulation, a panel discussion and suggested readings, which will provide participants with:

  • Knowledge of appropriate pharmacologic treatment of patients with mild asthma (steps one and two).
  • The skills needed to consider and choose among different treatment options.
  • Understanding of the rationale and clinical value of the recent GINA 2019 recommendations for the treatment of step one and step two asthma.

Participants with a myERS account will also be able to take a test on the topic at the end of the module, which is accredited with one CME credit. A CME certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the CME test.
