The European Respiratory Society (ERS) is pleased to share highlights for allied respiratory professionals from the ERS Congress programme.
Allied respiratory professionals are involved at all stages of respiratory care, from prevention, diagnosis and evaluation, to treatment and management of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, and have been particularly important for supporting the recovery of COVID-19 patients following hospitalisation.
This year’s programme will offer a range of sessions which address the needs, current issues and future developments in respiratory care from a multidisciplinary perspective.
As well as ERS’s own recommendations, Daniel Langer, Secretary of the Allied Respiratory Professionals Assembly, gave his thoughts on what makes the ERS Congress unique for primary care practitioners, what topics he would personally recommend, and what will be most popular among those in this professional speciality.
