Abstract and clinical case submission for the ERS Congress 2026 is now open – offering you an opportunity to be part of the scientific and educational programme of the world’s largest respiratory meeting.
Respiratory professionals from across the world can now submit their work to be a part of the programme at the next ERS Congress, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain (and online) from 5 to 9 September, 2026.
The ERS Congress is among the most highly anticipated events on the respiratory calendar. In 2025, it welcomed more than 22,000 delegates who attended both onsite in Amsterdam, Netherlands and online.
For professionals working in respiratory medicine and research, submitting an abstract and presenting your findings at the ERS Congress boosts your profile among world leaders in respiratory medicine and science, gaining international recognition for your work.
By submitting a clinical case, you also have an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to ERS learning resources and make a difference to respiratory medicine worldwide.
Accepted cases may be discussed among colleagues and peers from around the world as part of the ERS Congress ‘Lungs on Fire’ sessions; they may also be used as part of the wider ERS education programme outside of the Congress.
