9 March, 2026
The 24th ERS Lung Science Conference takes place in just two weeks, from 19–22 March in Estoril, Portugal, and online.
Although onsite spaces at the LSC 2026 are now almost sold out, the event also features a high-quality programme for online delegates, who can register to join the event from anywhere in the world.
As an online delegate, you will not be able to join the LSC’s countless networking opportunities, but you will still be able to access the majority of the event’s scientific sessions. Learn more here about what is included in online attendance registration.
Access the LSC’s oral presentations and panel discussions
With online registration, you can tune into the LSC’s oral presentations – including the opening lecture, keynote lectures, and panel discussions. Online audience members can also interact and ask questions of the panellists following each presentation.
E-poster content will also be accessible for online delegates – with access sent to all LSC delegates a week before the event starts.
Access early-career delegates and Young Investigator sessions
In previous years, the LSC’s early-career delegates session was only available for onsite delegates, but for LSC 2026 online participants can join the discussion in these sessions too. Plus, although the awards ceremony on the Saturday evening is not livestreamed, the Young Investigator Session – William MacNee Award session will be.
The latter is one of the most notable sessions at the LSC – it’s one not to miss, as it places young, rising stars among the ERS community at the centre of the programme.
Access to the event’s Sunday session
Online participants can join the discussions of the event’s Sunday session, which will focus on the application of multiomics in diagnostics and therapeutics. The session aims to look at ways that the findings presented in the first three days of the conference can be translated into clinical practice; as such, this particular session will be of major interest to clinicians.
Online delegates can join the Sunday session as part of their registration – or, if you so wish, you can register solely for access to this session by purchasing a Sunday morning pass for just €35.
Access to recordings post event
Both onsite and online participants in the Lung Science Conference can access replays of the event’s sessions until September 2026.
CME Accreditation
Continuing medical education (CME) is essential for ongoing professional development. The Lung Science Conference is among the numerous ERS events that offer the opportunity to pick up CME credits.
The opportunity to pick up 17.5 CME credits will be available for all Lung Science Conference registrants who register to access the full conference – including those joining online.
