Following the 2018 elections, which enabled ERS members to vote for their preferred candidates for a number of official ERS positions such as National Delegates, Assembly Heads and Secretaries, and Group Chairs, we are pleased to announce that the successful candidates have been elected and will commence their roles with immediate effect.

We would like to thank all members who took the time to vote; as a member-driven society your choices about leaders within the society will guide the way in which it develops.

Additionally, we would like to thank all members who nominated themselves or others to take up an active role within ERS. It is the enthusiasm of our members that keeps ERS moving from strength to strength year by year.

Reminder: this round of voting has also decided who will lead the two new assembly groups, which were added at the end of 2017. Please be aware that ERS members now also have the option of joining either Assembly 12: Interstitial lung diseases and Assembly 13: Pulmonary vascular diseases. Your group preferences can be changed through our online membership portal myERS.
