An upcoming live webinar will summarise current knowledge of the pulmonary vascular complications caused by COVID-19 and its consequences in patients with chronic pulmonary hypertension.

The webinar will be chaired by ERS President Prof. Anita Simonds and ERS President Elect Prof. Marc Humbert, with expert speakers Dr Erik Klok, Dr Maximilian Ackermann and Prof. Marion Delcroix.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • COVID-19 associated coagulopathy and thromboembolic disease
  • Pulmonary vascular endothelialitis, thrombosis, and angiogenesis in COVID-19
  • COVID-19 in pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension
