The European Respiratory Journal (ERJ) *is pleased to join *The Lancet Respiratory Medicine and the Journal of Cystic Fibrosis for the first time in hosting a collaborative research session on cystic fibrosis during the annual European Cystic Fibrosis Society meeting.
The session provides an educational forum to discuss how the journals operate, and to disseminate the latest cutting-edge findings in this very active field. The format will include presentations from the authors of selected research papers published across the three journals, with additional discussion from reviewers and editors.
In preparation for this session, the ERJ is calling for new submissions from the field of cystic fibrosis, with a preference for:
- Clinical trials;
- High quality basic science;
- Or translational studies with a high potential clinical relevance.
The ERJ can offer fast track peer review and publication for suitable papers.
Interested authors with suitable manuscripts should submit their work online before the end of February 2020, mentioning this call for papers in the cover letter for their submission.
