Physical activity as an outcome measure or as a way to provide feedback to patients

Physical activity is an important prognostic factor for patients with chronic respiratory diseases. Therefore, nowadays, it is more and more an outcome of interest both in clinical trials as well as an outcome used in clinical care. Next to the interest in physical activity as an outcome, providing direct feedback about the patient’s physical activity has been shown to be an essential part of coaching intervention aiming to enhance the physical activity behaviour.

In this webinar, the assessment of physical activity, both as an outcome as well as a way to provide feedback to patients, will be discussed.
