Chair: Sam Bayat (France)
Speakers: Grace Parraga (Canada), Jim Wild (United Kingdom)
There are a number of imaging studies producing quantitative measurements of regional lung functional parameters. Established radionuclide imaging techniques such as lung scintigraphy allow measuring regional lung ventilation and perfusion, however, emerging techniques such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, single photon emission tomography (SPECT) and positron emission tomography are used to measure regional lung functional parameters in various lung diseases and settings.
